Behind Story

I wanted her to read a story with me and go create her art at home today, but she said to me, “Her creativity is exploding in my classroom.”

What she said made me my day.

We forgot what we love when we grew up,

We are afraid of chasing what we love because we are worried about how we could we made money, but children reminded us of what we love and what we don’t love again and again.

Today I realized that I love to write and create art with children. I love to make space and time for children to create their art without worrying about what they could become in the future.

Children know what they love, they keep doing what they love, then they become what they love to be and live their lives they love. So do we.
